Bullet Train from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in three hours, fare 3000 Rupees
The country's first Bullet Train will run in December 2023. Its passenger fares can be 3000 rupees per head. Railways has made such a preliminary plan to determine the passenger fare of India's first high-speed Train. It will take about 3 hours by train to reach Ahmedabad from Mumbai. It is reported from the top sources of the Railway Ministry.
When the Center came to power for the first time in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took up the project of running a Bullet Train in India like Japan. The "National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited", the implementing agency, has informed the Central Government that it is possible to implement the entire project by December 2023.
It is reported that the Bullet Train will cross 508.17 kms from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Of this total route, about 150 km falls in Maharashtra, about 350 km in Gujarat and only two kilometers in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Of these, the 12 stations whose names are suggested as stops are Mumbai, Thane, Virar, Bessar, Vapi, Ballymora, Baroda, Anand, Ahmedabad and Sabarmati. Of this total 508.17 km, 21 km will be under the ground and 7 km will be under the sea. Government sources say land is becoming a major problem in the successful implementation of this Highspeed Rail Project. In order to solve the problem of land for the train project, it is thought to buy land with a compensation of five times the market. Rail sources say a total of 1 crore 380 hectares of land is needed for the implementation of the Bullet Train project. So far the land acquisition has been about 122 hectares.
The cost of the entire project is estimated to be a little over Tk 1 million. Where the cost of acquiring land alone is around Tk 17,000 crore. Rail is doing this project with a Japanese company. Conditionally, approximately 81 percent of the proposed project cost will be available from JICA ("Japan International Co-operation Agency"). The rest of Maharashtra and Gujarat government are participating.
